The Smart LF CX40m, c, and e models are productive, high-quality large-format scanners that are well capable of meeting the present market demand for CAD/GIS scanners. The exceptional scan performance of the Smart LF CX40m scanner produces a high speed scan with sharp lines and excellent halftones. The Smart CX40m scanner needs no time for warm-up and calibration thanks to Colortrac's unique CIS (contact image sensors) LED technology. Other competing scanners with CCD technology are occupied for hours with warm-up and calibration, while the Smart LF CX40m scanner does not lose a second.

Upgradeable to colour model
The SMART LF scanners are available in three models, including this CX40m black-white edition, which is upgradable to a Smart LF CX40c or CX40e model. The only difference between the CX40c and the CX40e colour types is speed. The Smart LF CX40e model cannot be upgraded. The advantage of an upgrade from the CX40m to the CX40c or CX40e version or the upgrade from the CX40c to the CX40e version is that the user does not need to prematurely replace the current scanner. Keep investment costs down thanks to the financial benefit of a new acquisition.
Software
Comes with standard software offering one-touch scan-to-file and scan-to-email functions and more. The scanner is also suitable for high-volume batch scanning. The optional software packages, ScanWorks and CopySmart, are available for additional functions and adjustment possibilities.
Choice of stand
A purchase of a Colortrac Smart LF scanner provides a choice from four stands/chassis. Standard stand, stand with paper catch basket, universal copy-shop stand with catch basket, or universal copy-shop stand.
